Business Development Manager

We are looking for someone with strong managerial and analytical skills, capable of building a team from the ground up, establishing and overseeing processes, analyzing progress, continuously optimizing processes and sharing feedback with other teams.

The BDR Manager must have exceptional people and communications skills, with a ‘hands-on’ approach while building the team, reaching out to prospects whether by phone, email or in-person.

What you will be doing in this role:

  • Build, grow and oversee the BDR team. The BDR team will initially focus on the US and UK, later managing a globally distributed BDR team. Due to the dispersed nature and out-of-the-norm working hours of the BDR team, this Manager should have a strong belief in company culture dissemination, team-bonding and strong internal communication skills.

  • Ensuring messaging consistency across sales and business development representatives as well as relaying team feedback and insights across relevant organizational functions and teams.

  • Developing, measuring, tracking and optimizing BDR processes with a strong emphasis on various technical tools.

  • Collaborating with Marketing in executing various demand generation campaigns

  • Researching, identifying, and prioritising target accounts for prospecting activities, building prospecting contact lists and organisational account mappings


‘Hands-on’ while building the team:

  • Prospecting/calling into multiple organisations via cold calling, networking, e-mailing, as well as utilising Internet information sources to build and maintain a lead development pipeline.

  • Creating, managing and driving all inbound leads to Sales acceptance

  • Learning and demonstrating a fundamental understanding of AirEye’s technology, where we fit in the NACP space and clearly articulating our capabilities and advantages to team members as well as to prospective customers to successfully manage and overcome prospect objections

  • Invite and drive attendance to company events and regional trade shows

  • Acquiring, updating and maintaining contact information within our CRM and Prospecting platforms, providing the account team with information to ensure opportunities are understood and next steps are clearly identified

  • There may be the need for occasional Travel for training and/or meetings including the possibility of International Company Conferences


Knowledge & Skills:

  • Have a minimum of 2 year’s experience as a team manager of Lead Development Representatives, Business Development Representative, Internal Sales Development OR Have a minimum of 5 year’s experience as a Lead Development Representatives, Business Development Representative, Internal Sales Development, Sales Executive or Account Executive

  • Experience positioning and selling either complex networking or security solutions to Enterprise and Corporate Accounts

  • Be familiar with CRM and Prospecting platforms such as SalesForce, Outreach, SalesLoft, ZoomInfo and knowledge of LinkedIn and Sales Navigator

  • Be self-motivated and able to work independently but as a team player be keen to learn and integrate with the sales and marketing teams to provide an essential feedback loop from prospects to AirEye, allowing messaging and solutions to be honed and refined to their needs

  • Be described as energetic, dynamic and positive in the way they approach their work, colleagues and our future customers

  • Have a basic understanding of Wireless Technologies and Security Solutions

  • Ability to work 1pm-10pm Mon-Thurs; Friday 11:00am- 4:00pm
